The host is exceptional, speaks fluent French, and shares his passion with you. Everything is homemade—cream, butter. The meal is excellent. The environment is calm and floral; you feel so good you don’t want to leave and would love to do all the shared activities. It’s the best lodging of the 15 days I spent in this beautiful country. Nothing to add.

The welcome and Ion’s kindness are wonderful. He gave us a lot of info about local history and culture. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, with tasty local specialties prepared by the mother. We took a short tour of the alpine pastures to hand‑milk a cow and pick mushrooms. The garden is very floral, the farm is pleasant and comfortable. We’ll gladly return.

The location is a dream, you feel like you’re going back in time—purely authentic. They don’t provide basic items: no fridge, no coffee maker or tea option. You only see what you pay for; I only paid for lodging, nothing else. Bucovinian hospitality isn’t what I received—they made a couple of pies while I was there and I only smelled them. They only ask if you need something if you ask for it—plate, mug, anything. I respect them, they work hard, but a bit more hospitality would have been nice. I think they target a different crowd, not just three‑night lodging; maybe a more assertive approach could resolve things.
