“Disappointing customer service. I would not stay here again.”

The location was convenient, and the room was acceptable for a short stay. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. A cleaning staff member accidentally threw my laptop charger into the trash, and I did not receive a satisfactory solution. Although I stayed at the property for 10 days, I was charged an extra 40,000 VND because I checked out only one hour late. In addition, the room rate was increased to 770,000 VND on weekends without offering good value for the service. Overall, the staff were not welcoming or customer‑friendly, and I did not feel appreciated as a guest.

The beds were among the best I’ve slept on here, with air‑con and a balcony. I stayed in a private room; the beds were fine but the floors were dirty, so you’d track dirt onto the bed. The balcony had cigarette butts from the previous guest, the bathroom flooded by an inch from the shower, and the air‑con leaked down the wall. A few other negatives, like construction noise, were outside the staff’s control. It has only one social space, which doesn’t attract many people. If you’re traveling in Vietnam and want a social hostel, I’d probably book something else, sadly.

“Perfect hostel!”

The spot’s right in the city center yet tucked into a quiet alley, the shower had hot water and the bed was comfy, and the staff were friendly, giving the place a cozy feel. Breakfast was great and varied each day, and I stayed for 3 nights.

There is a billiard table and Wi‑Fi works. There are no lockable lockers, no towels. It’s dark, dirty, and cramped.

The location was nice, but you shouldn’t expect much else. Even after asking many times about where the local buses depart, they never told me. I don’t know why, but when I tried to rent a scooter they said there were no vehicles available, and the person who guided me ended up charging extra. So it was somewhat pleasant, but not overly so—just average.
