The breakfast was decent and the location is ideal as a starting point to explore the area. The staff were very friendly, providing all kinds of local information and services. The room felt stuffy, and in some spots the ceiling was too low—especially around the table and chairs—making it impractical. The bathroom door was a glass sliding door that stuck easily when moved. There was no shower gel in the bathroom amenities. The TV broke and was never repaired or replaced during my stay.

The room was large, very clean, and pleasant. The bathtub in the room introduced moisture. The mattress was not great.

The care given to the whole house and Veronika’s smile were remarkable. The breakfast included the best tortilla in all of north‑western Spain.
