“Not a comfortable stay, especially when travelling with family.”
A cheerful smile greeted us at the front desk, but the staff offered almost nothing to ease our frustration with the steep climb and heavy luggage—fortunately we were traveling without children. The hotel did provide a water dispenser with a chilled water outlet, though we could only hope it was clean, filtered, potable, and not just regular tap water. The first thing that struck us was the steep staircase leading to the check‑in counter on the first floor, with no lift or bellboy to help with our bags. There was no on‑site dining or even a tea service, and the nearest eatery was across a busy street; a few people were seen there. We had to order food online, wait for delivery downstairs in a back alley amid Delhi mosquitoes, and eat on the bed in delivery containers, which was another hassle. The bathroom was too cramped, and besides a loose potty cover, we had to change rooms the next day.
