I was going to be late arriving after work g all day and called the hotel for 4 hours left emails messages and not one person came back to me because of that and me arriving at 10.30pm I booked another hotel. Terrible customer service

A charming old pub in a quiet spot. The staff were lovely. Unfortunately, a group of bike riders stayed the same night, were loud and stayed up late, and because there was no soundproofing, it was hard to sleep.

The bed was very comfortable and I could bring my two small dogs. The staff were helpful. The place needs a refurbishment, but it was clean and the food was simple yet nicely cooked. I arrived at night and it was hard to see any signage from the outside.

Third or fourth visit. If the weather’s good, the surrounding area is stunning. Dog friendly, excellent food, and the people are warm, helpful, and look after you. Great value.
