My room was decent for the price, but a small fridge or something would have been nice. The location is a bit far from the city center, though buses are nearby. The automatic floor heating never shuts off, gets too hot, so I had to sleep with the window open during the mild temperatures.

The place was close enough to the shuttle bus pick‑up/drop‑off and not far from the convenience store. It was only a 15‑minute walk from Echo Land and sat in a quiet area. The hosts kindly dropped us off at the train station when we left Hakuba. The room had a lot of stink bugs that were hard to get rid of, and walking to the shuttle with snowboard gear was tough before our 8:30 am lesson. Other guests were very loud in the morning and at night, and the room only had floor heating.
