The owner was always courteous and worked hard to make my stay as pleasant as possible; I checked in without any trouble within an hour, and the value for money was truly balanced for me.

Hotel Barborka surprised me pleasantly; the owner and all staff were very friendly and helpful, offering good advice on local sights. Despite the hotel’s lower occupancy, the breakfasts were plentiful with a wide selection. The room was clean and well‑equipped, even including a fridge. A bike shed, garden, and a parking lot right next to the hotel were available. The surrounding nature was a big plus. A restaurant right next door cooked until 20:00 during my visit, and a grocery shop was nearby, making the hotel feel like a cozy village hub. The only downside was that the shower gel was missing in the bathroom; adding it would nicely boost guest comfort.

The breakfast was excellent, the location was good, the staff were totally great, and the restaurant was just around the corner. It all fit perfectly.

The location is good, with a nice restaurant right on the Moldau lake, and a very extensive breakfast.
