The hosts were courteous, responded quickly to messages, and were always ready to help. We checked out earlier than booked, and the unused period was refunded promptly, which we appreciated. We chose this hotel because of many positive reviews about cleanliness and service, but upon arrival the staff strangely did not even check our IDs or confirm our room, which was unusual but not a major issue. The room was not cleaned properly: there was dust on surfaces, hair in the bathroom from previous guests, and dirty dishes. On the first day there was a problem with the toilet flush, but it was fixed quickly, so we did not complain further. The roof was a notable issue; we saw photos of it but did not expect that its poor quality would let insects and dirt onto our beds. The second floor was noticeably stuffy because the air conditioner was positioned low and only blew air up to the legs, plus there was a distinct straw smell. Considering all these factors, we decided to leave earlier than booked.
