“É um bom estabelecimento na faixa de 250 reais. Mais do que isso vale buscar outras opções.”
The hotel is very pretty, in a good part of town, easy to reach, and has good access. By car it’s close to markets, restaurants, and there’s space to receive delivery food. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful; they warmed my 8‑month‑old baby’s food in the microwave several times and let us finish feeding him after check‑out. The shower water is strong, the bidet is decent—not too strong or weak. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked clean and the water was clear. There’s a good uncovered parking spot for cars and a nice place to sit and enjoy the lake. Breakfast was well stocked with fresh fruit, hot coffee, fresh bread, and cakes that looked fresh. The dining area was clean. The sheets and towels had a fabric softener smell, and they gave us many towels (5), which was great. The hotel lacks a careful manager; the staff seem to keep things running but the hotel misses attention to detail. When we entered, the room had a strong mold smell that made us consider leaving even though we had paid, but opening the windows dissipated the odor. I found that the bedside tables were the source. The double bed’s mattress was extremely hard, like a wooden board with a blanket on top, and that was, from far, the worst part of the experience. The hygiene was poor; it seemed they cleaned the bathroom with homemade disinfectant or something, as blue disinfectant stains were visible throughout the bathroom. A bleach or chlorine wash would remove the black stains on the marble, which gave a dirty impression. The bathroom had a smell of a quickly cleaned or low‑quality product, with a strange odor of something not well cleaned. The shower water at night wasn’t very hot, making me wonder how it would be in winter. The shower box had poor drainage and water pooled under the feet. I thought the dishes were washed in a dishwasher, because many cups were dirty like when a dishwasher fails to clean properly. Some cups even had dead mosquitoes inside; I had to pick up 3 or 4 cups before finding a clean one. The area has many mosquitoes because it faces the lake, but we brought an electric mosquito repellent, which solved our problem. The grass was a bit tall, giving a slightly untidy look. The kids’ play area was very dirty, including the slide covered in bird droppings. It’s a decent place for a single day for 230–250 reais; I paid 450 and regretted spending that money on this hotel, as there were better options in that price range.
