“Ausserordentlich”
I stayed in a single “Königszimmer” in a tower of an otherwise very romantic castle ruin. The owners were very friendly. Breakfast was served in their living room. In the same small town there was a fantastic Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant.
“Établissement fermé …”
The accommodation wasn’t available when I arrived. I drove all the way to the property only to be told it was closed, even though the booking was confirmed. No apology was offered. I had to find a last‑minute alternative.
“Une fabuleuse expérience !”
A surprisingly delightful spot worth checking out; the hosts greeted us perfectly, and breakfast outside under the chestnut tree was a blissful moment. Thanks to the owners for their kindness and guidance. Once inside the room, which has everything, you can almost dream of being transported back 400 years. Nothing to complain about!

The host was super helpful and arranged a restaurant reservation for us when the local spots were closed because we arrived late. The room was located in the middle of an old crumbling château, which we didn’t expect.
The stay was unusual and timeless, with a very friendly welcome. Nothing to add.
