There was a shopping voucher, which added value. The breakfast selection was plentiful and I was very satisfied. The room isn’t auto‑locked, so you need to remember to lock the door when you leave; I wish I’d been told about that at check‑in.

The dinner was tasty, but the location was on the outer wall, which is a bit disappointing. I don’t know about other rooms, but the curtain was torn.

Breakfast was consistently delicious, so much so that even when staying elsewhere I’d pay 2000 yen just to eat there. I booked a Standard Double but was upgraded to a Klondike Suite, which was the best. The room was wonderfully comfortable and spacious, making me want to pay full price for a special occasion stay. The only downside was the shortage of non‑smoking rooms; I had to book a smoking room instead. Even with an air purifier, the cigarette smell lingered, which was disappointing and felt out of step with the times. It’s a good hotel, so I hope they’ll eliminate smoking rooms entirely.
