The only thing that made the trip worthwhile was the backyard grill and the animals that roamed the fish pond. But when I got there, I was told pets weren’t allowed in the rooms—contrary to the listing that said “Accepts Pets.” The receptionist was dismissive, claiming she’d had health‑inspection issues because of pets, yet another staff member later let the dog in. Inside the room, rat droppings were everywhere, falling from the ceiling and you could hear the mice.
