We had booked for one night, but our car broke down on the way, so we couldn’t arrive. I reached out to the owner to see if we could reschedule a few days or weeks later, but he showed no understanding of our situation and we lost our money. He told me he was “shutting down” the apartments we were renting (strict policies). I’m sure if anyone else faced this during their stay, it wouldn’t be a problem to come back later. That’s what service and empathy should be like for the person experiencing it. I have no idea about the negative part because our car broke.
