The green area is beautiful, the pool is pretty, breakfasts taste great, and the hosts are very friendly and caring. Plus, animals are welcome here.

The hosts were the most heartwarming family! Beautiful garden, books to read. We missed pillows on the loungers outside and a closet in the room.

“Solide Unterkunft”

The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The outdoor area has potential that unfortunately isn’t being used. The villa sits on the main road, but it’s relatively quiet and you can walk to almost everything nearby. The bathroom was not very clean upon arrival. Breakfast was good, but we’ve had better breakfasts elsewhere. The pool, which was the main reason we booked this place, was unfortunately very cloudy and dirty. If this area and the pool were kept a bit better, this would be a place where the price‑performance ratio would fit.

Very good welcome. The room was far enough back to escape the noise of the coastal road. Very beautiful garden. The pool’s condition is discouraging; the water is very cloudy and has an unappealing color.

The Wi‑Fi was solid, which is rare in Sri Lanka, and breakfast was okay; the bed was big and comfy. The owners, especially the husband in the married couple, seemed uninterested in making the stay pleasant, coming off as unwelcoming and tense when I tried to talk to him, which felt like a lack of care for guests. After seven days, my room hadn’t been cleared even once, the sunbeds had no mattresses for proper use, and the room lacked lamps—only a small corner light that was far too weak, making evenings very dark. The bed sheets were a bit dirty when I checked in. The pool was dirty because of a nearby tree, so it wasn’t enjoyable. Tall guests would have to bend constantly in the villa, and the neighbors had little kids who made a lot of noise early in the morning, revealing poor soundproofing. The villa is beautiful and full of potential, but the owner’s careless attitude makes it hard to recommend; I won’t stay there again.
