“Dirty, overpriced, and uncomfortable.”
The neighborhood feels a bit sketchy, yet it’s close to the highway and a mall. However, mold was everywhere in the vents, especially in the lobby. We stayed in room 302 and the bathroom was filthy—public hair everywhere, even a blue eyelash in the tub. Because we were on a tight schedule, we didn’t wait for housekeeping and used Lysol wipes. A constant drip from the pipe above the tub ran all day and night. The TV never worked; they said an engineer would need to come but we declined and watched news on our phones instead. The beds were uncomfortable and left us with lower back pain, though the pillows and linens were fine. Parking was a nightmare: the garage is far away and $29.23 a day is outrageous, especially given the higher room rates. On the first night, after arriving at 9:45 pm, we wanted a drink but the bar was already closed; the front desk guy said it closes at 10 pm and didn’t budge. The room door was hard to open and close, requiring force to ensure it shut properly, which felt unsafe.
