The houseboat is set up perfectly for two people, the view of the water and sunrise are simply dreamy, and the harbor location is great for getting around. The boat itself could use a thorough cleaning; some corners look untidy, and the coffee machine could be a bit larger. Otherwise everything was lovely.

The houseboat is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything needed, but there was no briefing. The request for a second set of sheets was noted but not fulfilled, and the toaster is broken – it won’t turn off.

The location and view were good, but the overall cleanliness was awful, with lots of broken items, the toilet and drains stinking all day whether used or not, terrible shower water pressure, a rusted dishwasher, and local residents on the pier complaining that visitors never receive instructions—for example, how to dispose of trash.

The sunrise and sunset were amazing, the layout was well‑designed with the necessary facilities, and moving in for a short stay was easy; the ground‑floor terrace was lovely. However, finding the key pickup spot was hard, and it was far from the boat. The person we called answered quickly even though it was late, which was good, but her German was hard to understand. Better pictures and a map would have helped. Cleaning was missing—spider webs, an unwashed table and chairs on the terrace, and the floor wasn’t properly swept. The shower thermostat needed adjustment; you had to use “force” to get the right temperature and avoid scalding water. The terrace floor needs rinsing and cleaning—look at the neighboring boat. The water around the boat in the harbor isn’t very clean.

It’s a nice alternative to a hotel or Airbnb, with a great vibe on the houseboat’s terrace at perfect sunset, and friendly, quiet neighbors. The coffee machine listed in the inventory was missing, and one of the mattress protectors was overdue for disposal. Everything else was fine.
