The staff, reception, breakfast, and bar were very welcoming; for a budget hotel the chairs, sofas, and overall standard were clean and comfortable, and free car parking was a bonus even though the confirmation said there was no parking. The only issue was my shower— the tap‑to‑shower switch was broken, which I reported on exit, so I don’t know if it was fixed, but everything else matched the price I paid.

The lady receptionist was extremely helpful and had to ring booking .com as they wanted the reservation details so we could check in
