“Incredible stay and we can’t wait to be back!”

The spot is unbeatable—just a stroll to the beach, a convenience store, Murasaki Sports, and downtown Aoshima, yet it’s tucked in a calm surf area. The shared amenities are solid: laundry machines, a pool table, outdoor showers, a communal kitchen, an ice water station, and vending machines. The room itself is massive and beautifully appointed, featuring a hot‑spring bathtub, a roomy shower, a large bed, and a couch‑TV area. It’s easily one of the best rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The only gripe: the desk comes with a ball chair, which is cool, but a smaller armchair would have been a nice addition.

The rooms are very comfortable. There’s no staff on hand, so you have to handle check‑in and check‑out yourself.

The onsen tub is clean and the room is roomy. However, check‑in is via tablet, laundry is self‑service but there’s no ironing board provided, and the onsen was misrepresented—Japan’s public bath tradition isn’t offered here; you only get tap water in the room and a separate paid public bath. The hotel was still under construction, so it was noisy with carpenters and the like. Daily housekeeping wasn’t available as advertised, which wasn’t clearly explained on the booking page. The package turned out to be pricey.
