Luskin Hotel

The hotel sits right inside the UCLA campus, and we drove there, finding a multilevel parking structure next door; a sky‑bridge leads straight to the back entrance. The room was large, cozy and comfortable, and because it’s on campus the night was very quiet. Reception staff were friendly, and you can ask the front desk for a kettle if you need hot water. Waking up felt like being surrounded by the campus’s calm, scholarly atmosphere. We stayed four nights and the cleaning was spotless each day. Nearby there’s a TARGET, TRADE JOE and IN‑N‑OUT, all about a 5‑10 minute drive. The guard at the front desk was especially courteous, professional and polite, which left a very positive first impression.

The location was great for graduation at UCLA, the staff were fantastic, and the food was amazing, but it would have been better if they offered an international airport pickup option instead of just a blunt message to catch a taxi or Uber—this doesn’t match the standard of a beautiful hotel.

I love this place in West Los Angeles, but if you’re into nightlife it’s not for you; it feels cozy, academic, professional, and the vibe is energetic.

I had a great stay at Luskin: the rooms were comfortable, the bathroom stocked with many cosmetics, but the restaurant prices are very high. I didn’t receive any commercial concession for parking even though I stayed a week in the hotel.
