The staff were friendly, but the description didn’t say the room opened directly onto the street with an unsecured door. The door led straight onto the sidewalk in front of the church, so with a young child I couldn’t stay for a night and felt I had paid for nothing. The room was also unclean, with stained sheets, and the toilets were reported to be malfunctioning.

No positives. The constant traffic noise and neighbours sitting in front of the door to chat, even early in the morning, were a nuisance.
