I stayed at the property for three nights and more. I asked Monica, an excellent and helpful host, to keep me for a workshop on Sunday. There were sweets, coffee, etc. I will definitely return. I think it’s a perfect accommodation for visiting Florence, about 6–8 km from the city. If you’re driving, it’s strongly recommended – you reach the centre in 10 minutes.

The room is on a busy street, but the double windows make it sound‑proof when closed. Parking is nearby, and public transport (bus) is close as well. There’s no insect screen, but there is an insect repellent plug. The front desk is friendly and speaks almost exclusively Italian. The bathroom is shared, and the room has a window.

The distance to the city center is good, it’s a quiet spot and the room is spacious. The shared bathroom was fine, though the shower was small.

The room was clean and the location is excellent for visiting the center of Florence.

The room feels very homey and the host Monica was welcoming. There are no marked trails to reach the property from Via degli Dei.
