We were really impressed with the hotel's modernized palace design and the cleanliness of our room, which had a huge bathroom. The gym and ping-pong table were also a nice touch. The staff were friendly and available 24/7. The only thing that caught us off guard was the lack of a TV in the room, but we're guessing it was a deliberate choice for the palace.
Our stay was okay, but there were a few issues. Booking took the money from us before we could cancel, and to make matters worse, the hotel informed Booking that the restaurant would be closed the day before our dinner plans, but I never got the notification. I'd made reservations with friends based on the hotel's previous good service, but it looks like they didn't follow through this time.
The massage therapist was completely unskilled. I wouldn't recommend this place for a massage. The spa itself looked nice, but the massage was a total letdown.

The only downside was the location, which was a bit of a trek from Gdańsk – it took us around 2.5 hours to get there, even though it's only 160 km away. Still, if you've got activities planned in the area, this place is definitely worth considering – the restaurant alone is worth a visit.
