We were hiking the Westweg and only stayed one night there. The big spruce is a rustic lodge with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The food was really good and the accommodation was clean and has a great atmosphere.

Very good breakfast with salmon, decaf coffee and oat milk, rustic Black Forest atmosphere and very accommodating staff.

Nice location on the walking route with lots of quiet and nature. The price‑quality ratio and the too soft mattress with a hollow in it are disappointing.
