The place is right for getting to Stewart Island, which is why we chose it. The hosts were very friendly and let us leave our car and extra luggage on the island. The weather was a downside, but that’s unavoidable.

All thought this hotel is of an older type; it was an excellent place to stay. Close to the ferry terminal and we were able to park our car at the rear of the hotel. They also stored our bags for us and had them in our room when we returned from Stewart Island. No problems.
