The view was nice, but the breakfast area was a mess – flies buzzed over the bread and a lizard was crawling on the shelf. I saw it on the first day and never returned for breakfast again, even though my stay included it; I ended up paying for breakfast elsewhere every day.

A room that’s huge with beds that feel like clouds, spotlessly clean and tucked away from city buzz yet still easy to get around from. A few great restaurants are just a short walk away. The staff were super helpful and the pool was fantastic. The only downside was the shower had almost no pressure, which I understand for a rural lodge.
