Calm, comfortable, disorienting, nature, clean, authentic—everything you need to recharge. Just remember to book your dinner a few days in advance. The fridge box is a nice touch, though it’s a bit worn.
“Ein Ort der Ruhe und Erholung”
We were greeted very warmly and given a room with its own entrance right away. Because it was very hot, the room built with natural stones provided a pleasant coolness. It was a bit small, but very clean and appealing. The good bed gave a relaxed sleep. There was even a small free fridge stocked with drinks! The breakfast terrace is reached via an old staircase that matches the house, which is a bit difficult for people with mobility problems. In return, you’re rewarded with a spectacular view of Burgundy. Breakfast included toasted bread, croissants, jams, and an egg from our own hens. When asked, there was also some cheese. If you love peace and nature, you’ll get exactly what you want here. We were only a one‑night guest on the way. The price is amazingly cheap. The old house is a bit far from the highway for travelers.

The site is outstanding, tucked in the countryside with a stunning view of the surrounding hills. It’s a hidden, very quiet spot where you can rest without any trouble. The lady who welcomed us was extremely pleasant, charming with her guests and open to conversation. The cottage is very comfortable, the bedding excellent, and we slept perfectly even with the intense heat. As for breakfast, calling it pantagruelic is an understatement! Everything is there, and everything is homemade. A great moment of happiness, and we also got to chat with our hostess! In short, an excellent cottage in every way that I warmly recommend.
