“Wir haben das Appartement verlassen und keine Nacht darin verbracht!!!”
I was disappointed with this place. When we arrived, the chalet was visibly dirty, several rooms had a strong unpleasant smell, and the overall hygiene was unacceptable. After we complained, the host sent a housekeeping employee, who admitted he had not cleaned the apartment for quite some time, which matched its condition and odor. The problems didn’t end there. After confirming the booking, the host repeatedly demanded additional payments that were either not clearly disclosed beforehand or were incorrectly calculated. We were asked to pay extra for electricity, water, cleaning, beach access and even a security deposit after we had already checked in. One of the entrance fees claimed by the host was significantly higher than the official fee we paid directly at the entrance. To make matters worse, the entrance door could not be properly secured from the inside, raising serious safety concerns, especially as we were traveling with our three‑year‑old child. Because of the combination of poor hygiene, hidden and inaccurate extra charges, and the security issue, we had no choice but to leave the property immediately and return to Cairo the same day. Our annual holiday is limited to only three weeks, and because of this experience we effectively lost an entire week of our vacation, in addition to a considerable financial loss. We have extensive photos, videos and screenshots documenting the condition of the property, the defective door and the communication with the host. I sincerely hope the issues at this property are addressed so that future guests do not have to experience the same situation.
