The best part is the location; you can walk to most of the town without trouble. The room lacks air conditioning, so it can get warm, and the fan is very noisy.

The service was excellent, the staff were very friendly and attentive, never bothered you and answered questions right away.

The location is good (10‑15 min. to the ADO bus station) and on the way to the city centre. The staff are helpful and friendly. The door to the bathroom feels more like a cupboard door, so sometimes the room smells unpleasant; that’s not a big deal.

The inn is clean and comfortable, just a few steps from the Church of Santo Domingo and only 600 m from the ADO bus station. The rooms are tidy, have a small fridge, dishes/utensils/glasses, and are fairly quiet. The property offers tap water and a microwave. Upstairs there’s a small restaurant, handy for breakfast or a quick bite. I would definitely come back!

The accommodation is fine and has everything you need. The bathroom needs maintenance, mold in the shower and ceiling. Only be careful if the front desk person (Adele) offers you a tour; she charged me $500 per person, far above the real cost ($350). Book it in the centre because it’s the same agency. They arrived an hour and a quarter later than scheduled, told us they’d pick us up outside the hotel, but they didn’t; they walked to the spot where the van was parked two blocks away. The “guide” Jazmín from VTO was awful, adding extra fees for Hierve el Agua that weren’t supposed to exist—only $50 for the falls entrance and $20 for San Lorenzo de Albarradas, yet she charged $120. At the end of the tour we were two minutes from the hotel; I asked the driver if he could drop us back at the hotel, and he rudely said no, that we should go to the centre and tell the guide. In the end they left us on the avenue. We couldn’t enter Hierve el Agua because it was cloudy that day and they reserved the falls for the end, arriving at 4:30 pm in a downpour. Weather is out of anyone’s control, but if you run tours and the weather isn’t suitable, you should stop at the falls first.
