Since there were no other guests around, I didn’t feel any hesitation. I tried to leave at the scheduled time in the morning, but when I tried to check out, I couldn’t get out of the room and they didn’t help me.
It’s a family‑run place and everyone was kind. No complaints.

The spot was great, just outside the busy town, giving us a lovely and peaceful stay while still being easy to get to everything. The guesthouse was cozy, fully equipped, and had every amenity we needed. The host was incredibly friendly, helpful, and communicative the whole time. The shower was excellent with strong water pressure, and we even enjoyed a nice hot bath one evening that the host prepared for us. On the morning we left, the host kindly drove us to the station, which we really appreciated. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this guesthouse! 😊

The guest house is in a very good location for visiting Nachi Taisha. If you want to enjoy Nachikatsuura Town, I recommend it. The futon was very comfortable to sleep on. There are many restaurants near the house, so it’s convenient. It was disappointing that the public bath didn’t have hot water, because it was a normal house. Also, I had paid for breakfast, but the morning service was not arranged. At least I would have liked to be asked whether it was necessary to prepare. I think it is fatal for a lodging or service industry. Please check the payment details.
The location was perfect, close to Kumano Nachi-Taisha and the Nachi waterfall. The house was quiet, and we were the only guests that night, so we didn’t have to share the bathroom. The host was very kind and went out of her way to help when we had an unexpected medical issue before we left, even calling for advice. That allowed us to continue our trip. Thanks a lot. We can recommend the house. We only stayed one night and had nothing to complain about.
