The hotel manager also acted as a guide, spoke excellent English, and knew a lot about the Garifuna history and the area. We had a fun day trip with him. Breakfast was tasty, and it was handy that the ferry could pick us up at the hotel dock. The shower spray wasn’t very strong, and the pool needed some maintenance.

The location is a bit off‑center but quiet and easy to reach. The rooms are very large with sea views. For any need, ask Giovanni and he’ll find a solution with a smile. The boat to and from Rio Dulce takes you directly to the hotel pier. The sea‑level pool lets you enjoy sunsets or starry swims.
