The location was good, but we arrived very hot with luggage because the walk is uphill for a few blocks and the last 100 m are stairs; the mini fridge didn’t fit a 1 l bottle and didn’t cool anything. When we asked for water, the staff said to use the tap, and there was no coffee or shower soap. Only one partially used roll of toilet paper existed, and the bedside lamp didn’t work. The air conditioning required a 5 e charge, and the only thing the staff insisted on was the 12 e tax.

The central location was a plus, but the room basically only had a bed and a display rack for clothes, a toy fridge, a coffee machine without pods, a small table, a second chair, a few pods, and a hotel‑room fridge that seems expensive to have. The air conditioning cost 5 e, which is a real mystery.

A cozy apartment on a traditional Italian street, everything was spotless and it offered great value for the price.

“Be prepared to pay for AC in cash!!”

The room was clean and roomy, though the bathroom was tiny but spotless. Finding the place was a hassle because the host gave us almost no directions, so we spent extra time looking for the room. We only discovered that we had to pay 5 € per day for AC after checking in late at night. The host handed us a remote at midnight, which was useful, but we still had to pay the AC fee and city tax in cash, which meant we had to withdraw more money. We had to deposit cash into the key box after midnight, which was a bit inconvenient. It was over 30 °C and very hot at night, so the AC was essential; it would have been better if the host had warned us beforehand.
