The staff were courteous, and at reception the explanations given were numerous and clear; the setting remains sublime. We visited this place three years ago and were very disappointed by the aging infrastructure (insufficient lighting in the second room making it impossible to read at night, same in the kitchen…). The biggest disappointment was the restaurant; we had kept an excellent memory, but it turned into a school cafeteria with the noise and the imposed buffet. Tables were fixed with towels, the table trays were unstable and almost fell onto our legs. Not to mention the loud volume, certainly fueled by a full bus. Our feeling would have been different if we had not had that point of comparison. We could have shared our remarks at checkout if we had taken the trouble to ask for it.
