The place was a nightmare: no running water, the toilets were filthy, and there was no heating at all. On top of that they tried to charge me an extra 20 BGN for a “tourist tax” without any receipt, even though the listing said there were no extra fees. The whole experience felt like a scam and left me convinced they’re ruining tourism in the area.

The spot is great – right in the middle of everything I needed – and the staff were genuinely helpful and warm. The only thing that let me down was the food menu; there was no halal option at all, which was disappointing.

I was placed in an attic room that was tiny, reeked of stale cigarette smoke, and had amenities that were basically unusable. For the price I paid, the quality was far from acceptable, so I can’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff were incredibly friendly and the room was spotless, which made the stay pleasant. The price matched what was promised, the continental breakfast was decent and the coffee surprisingly good, and there were plenty of facilities for kids both inside and outside. I’d definitely suggest this place to families.
