I’ve been here three times now, and every visit feels like a solid 8/10 experience – the place is clean, warm, and cozy, and the staff always greet you with a smile. I don’t have any complaints; I’ll be back in a couple of weeks.
“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, went back next day for coffee and caked”
The pizza at the restaurant was outstanding, the prices were reasonable, and the acoustics in the dining area were good.
The bed was very comfortable, and being on the main street was a bonus, but the communal shower room wasn’t heated and the hot water didn’t run continuously.
We were extremely disappointed: we told the hotel ahead of time that we’d be arriving late, they promised it was fine and set up a key for us, yet the code they gave didn’t even open the lock box. We tried calling repeatedly with no answer, and when they finally checked the security footage they could see us struggling to get in, but nobody offered help or took responsibility. We were left outside with no access to the room we’d already paid for and had to find another place to stay. This was totally unacceptable and I wouldn’t recommend it, especially if you need a late check‑in.

The room was very clean and had a tea‑coffee station, but room 5 was near equipment that ran all night, so it was freezing when I first entered and took a while to warm up; if it had been pre‑warmed it would have made a big difference. Also, the cleaning crew arrived early and were quite noisy.
