The location was fantastic and the gym was decent; front desk was excellent, especially Louis who helped us a lot, and housekeeping kept the room spotless. However, the lady at the café counter seemed angry when we showed our free coffee voucher for level 20, which was terrible service, and we wish we could adjust the temperature ourselves.

I loved the friendly staff who went above and beyond for guests, especially Lucas who was very professional and friendly. Construction nearby was annoying, but it wasn’t caused by Shilla Stay Samsung.

The rooftop bar view is still amazing, and the staff are exceptional. We arrived early for a flight, received complimentary early check‑in because the room was ready, and were given snacks and drinks at check‑in. Shilla Stay Coex is our go‑to hotel in Seoul. I wish the rooftop bar opened in the morning so early‑rising guests could see the sunrise, and the room faucet sputtered a bit when turned on, but I didn’t report it because we were already settled.
