The small seaside station was friendly. The bunk beds and mattress quality were lacking, and the room price reflected that.

I stayed in a very quiet place that was spotlessly clean. The view was right across the sea and it was amazing.

The spot was perfect, right in the heart of Lacco Ameno, close to the San Montano bay, Negombo, and the bus stop; the owner was kind and helpful. The bathroom was lovely, with a large, comfortable shower, and the house kept the towels fresh after two days and added breakfast items. The value for money was great. The only downside was breakfast – it would have been nice if there were a small espresso machine in the room for coffee lovers, but the owner did leave juice and tea for us.

The place was ultra-central, right across the beach and near the shops. The room was well organized, making good use of every space, and there was air conditioning.
