The location is simply wonderful, right by the sea, the station, shops, and restaurants. Getting to Porto and other cities by train is cheap and convenient. The small family‑run hostel is tastefully decorated and very clean. Nuno, the host, was always friendly and helpful. The airport transfer worked out nicely too.

The breakfast was fantastic, plentiful, full of fruit, coffee, milk, bread, butter, and jam. Everything else, from cleanliness to services, was fine.

Everything was clean, the breakfast was super tasty, and the staff were very friendly. Sometimes you hear a lot of street noise or people on the second floor, but good curtains fix that – not a big deal in my view.
