“Fantastic motel. Great location.”

The location was fantastic, and the lady at reception was helpful and friendly; the beds were really comfortable and the kitchen even had a small microwave, which was a pleasant surprise that I’ll use again. Everything was really good, though the old motel’s wooden floors can be noisy, but that didn’t bother me.

“Great value, older style in the heart of town”

The bed was comfy and the walk to main‑street shops was easy; electric charging spots were available, the bedroom walls were thick and quiet, Netflix worked, heating and cooling were good, and the sink was nice and big. The reception staff welcomed me and promptly gave me a dishcloth when I forgot one, which was great value. The downside was that only one person can enter the kitchen or bathroom at a time because it’s an add‑on; it’s a bit tricky to access for those with mobility limitations due to three steps, but everything else was perfectly functional and excellent value for money.

“For the price, met my expectation.”

It’s an older‑style hotel that could use a little jazz‑up, yet it was clean and comfortable; the bed, linen, towels and hot shower with good pressure were lovely. The furniture was very dated and worn, but it was still clean.

“OK, but could have been better!”

The property’s location is excellent, right in the CBD with two supermarkets and a liquor dispenser nearby. The room was very clean, neat, and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. The place looks like an old guest house turned into motel units. The only issue was the lack of a toaster in the kitchenette, and because the building is old, the wooden floors let in noise from the kids above playing football late into the night.
