The owner was incredibly friendly and his story about the rescued elephants was truly inspiring; they run a nice program that looks after the elephants while also giving them plenty of peace, letting the three of them roam freely, never hitting them or riding them, and you can see the love in how they’re treated. When we learned that one elephant needed 300 kg of food each day, the price‑to‑value ratio of the place suddenly made sense.

The staff at this place were absolutely fantastic - they went out of their way to make sure I felt welcome. The hotel itself was spotless, with a really nice atmosphere. It's a shame I didn't get to enjoy it more, but I was only there for a night.
