Having my own little 'cottage' in what felt like a rainforest was so pleasant, and it was only a 6min drive to the volcano; the facilities were great and the hosts were super nice. It rained almost the whole time! Definitely not the fault of the property but just be prepared!

The location in the forest and the closeness to the volcano park were great, and the host was friendly. The room was small, smelled damp, and the breakfast was inadequate.

The place was comfortable. There was no air conditioning, so it felt a bit humid. It wasn’t hot because it’s at 1200 meters elevation, so that wasn’t an issue, but the humidity was noticeable—still more than acceptable.

The lodge’s location was nice, tucked into nature and very close to the volcano, and the service was exceptional. The lodge itself was humid and a bit smelly, and there wasn’t enough storage space.
