Everything was new, tastefully decorated, the bed was comfortable, and the hosts were very nice. We stayed there to watch the Tour de France. The car could be parked easily. The bikes were stored safely overnight. Breakfast was tidy, with homemade jams, croissants, yogurt, cakes. Coffee and special requests were taken the night before. We were pleasantly surprised by the option to have a full dinner on the first evening, even though it wasn’t booked. We enjoyed a 5‑course menu – the highlight being the Côte du Boef from the grill – with an aperitif and wines. The conversations with other guests, hosts, and family were priceless. It was an unforgettable evening at the long table. The dry toilet is definitely not for everyone.
