“My stay was decent but a good value”

I liked the jacuzzi and the breakfast, but the office chair was broken.

The location was really good, just off I‑5, and the breakfast—motel eggs, sausage, and fruit—was pretty decent even though I didn’t eat it. The secured gate and daily security staff were reassuring given the many homeless people in the area, which has been like that for years. The motel itself was kept up nicely.

“Room was so filthy, found a cockroach in the room, took until 5pm the next day get us a clean room.”

The pool, hot tub, and breakfast were fine, but my room was unbelievably filthy: crap on the walls, crumbs everywhere, a dirty fridge, handprints all over the place, cobwebs on the ceiling and walls, and a chair that should have been discarded because it was so gross. The balcony was a nightmare with spider webs on everything—chairs, table, railing, walls—looking as if nobody had cleaned it in years. I found two spiders on the sliding door and a cockroach on the curtains. When I asked for a different, clean room, they said rooms were available but I had to wait until about 4 or 5 pm the next day; it felt like they didn’t believe me. Finally, when I did get a clean room, they claimed it had been deep‑cleaned, but it was only superficially clean. After checkout, when I received my deposit back, they charged me 20 or 30 bucks for an unknown reason. I barely stayed 12–14 hours, used only a couple towels after the pool, so this was a terrible experience. My previous stay a few years ago wasn’t nearly as bad; I should get a refund for the two nights.

“I would stay there again, but would have to be in the room before dark was close to my location. I needed to attend.”

My room was very clean and the staff was excellent helped me and everything that I needed breakfast was excellent. A lot of homeless people and people walked around with beers getting drunk and a lot of drug addict walk through the property
