There’s nothing I can criticize about this hotel! It sits in a fantastic spot right across from the castle, the staff—including the owner we met over lunch—were incredibly friendly and helpful, the lunch menu was outstanding, and our room was cozy with stone walls; we loved every moment in this historic setting.

The staff were kind and the location right in front of the castle was a real advantage; they gave me a room with a very good desk because I needed one to work. The only downside is that you have to walk in because it’s a pedestrian zone.

Excellent location. The staff vary, but overall they’re good. The bathroom is too small and uncomfortable, with a tiny sink and a very small shower.

The location was perfect, right next to the castle, and the waitress was excellent throughout. Unfortunately, the room originally assigned to us couldn’t be opened because the key wouldn’t turn, so we were moved to another that was a mess—broken shower, broken sink, brown shower curtain, and little light—a real disaster.
