“Decepcionante”

There was nothing positive; the hotel was dirty, old, and smelled terrible because smoking is allowed in the rooms. The photos shown are misleading; the reception and rooms are not as displayed, making it deceptive advertising. The rooms are in a building owned by residents, very old and deteriorated, with cigarette odor, torn curtains, and a filthy bathroom. The facilities were disastrous and the reception area is not what the pictures show.

The location was convenient for getting to and from the main attractions. The reception area did not match the pictures, and we ended up walking into another hotel that had to direct us because it looked like the photos. The room had a strong smoking smell, which was not appealing.

Their bed was really nice and comfortable; the laundry room was free to use during the allotted time. The location was okay and the price was good for the area, and it was close to the metro. The bathroom was acceptable but badly designed; water didn’t drain quickly and after showering it stayed very wet. The toilet was behind the shower, making it hard to use, but they do provide slippers for walking after a shower.

“Not recommended unless you want a fancy ghetto experience”

The interior décor is fairly new and they offer free self‑service laundry. That’s it. The reason there’s no exterior photo is that the hotel sits in a sketchy building behind a sketchy alley, with the lower floors run by a different hotel—a first for me. The room is decent but small, and the bathroom is even smaller, with a broken fan and a barely hanging showerhead holder. Soundproofing is nonexistent; you can hear both hallway and neighbors talking. Overall, it’s an experience I don’t want to repeat.

The elevator right out of the metro makes getting here a snap. The room was large, but it wasn’t the most comfortable.
