The only perk was that it was close to my route, but everything else was awful—inside and outside the room was filthy, silver fish bugs crawled on the floor, the floor itself was dirty, there were only three towels, the office was a mess, and the breakfast area was just as untidy.

I left two items in my room at early check‑out, called a few hours later to arrange a two‑hour round trip to retrieve them, they agreed, but when I arrived nothing had been found; I’ll never book here again—what a waste of time.

“Convenient and close to what you need”

The shower warmed up nicely with decent pressure, the eggo‑like waffles were fine when toasted, the fridge yogurt was good, and the location offered easy highway access, quick trips to Paramount theater downtown, and a Costco nearby for gas and supplies. I’d have appreciated a bit of fruit (I know it’s pricey), maybe bagels or croissants instead of just white bread, more spreads beyond peanut butter or raspberry jam, and herbal teas for non‑coffee drinkers. The bed was comfortable but sometimes vibrated—perhaps a generator room sits below 228. There was no door lock bar latch; it looked broken off long ago. The bathtub floor was very slippery; something should be added inside to prevent falls.
