The hillside view was a highlight, but the kitchen was almost bare – no pots, no pans. Bunk spacing was tight, and the lounge right next to the rooms made it hard to sleep when people were watching TV or chatting. The room had only one light bulb, so it felt pretty dark, and there was just one toilet for the whole hostel. Looks like they’re renovating, so maybe next time it’ll be better.

The price was solid and the staff were genuinely friendly. The only downside was that the cleaning could have been a bit better.

The staff were great, showers were hot (though the temperature fluctuated a lot) and the hammocks were a nice touch. The room itself was dark, smelled a bit funky, and felt stuffy. Most of the other guests were locals working nearby, so they came and went at all hours, which made it hard to relax, and they’d get annoyed when guests moved around. There’s only one toilet and shower, but they’re building more. The pool needs a good clean and the kitchen could use more dishes and utensils.

The team was 100% helpful, but the hostel sits on a steep slope. The room got hot, and the fan was noisy. Most guests were workers who slept during the day and worked at night, so there were few tourists.
