A very nice idyllic house.

The owner was super helpful and very friendly, and the property is excellently located just outside the city.
I stayed here about a decade ago and noticed it had deteriorated a bit; the outdoor area and pool are still nice, but the rooms could use a refresh. I had booked a better room, but was told the air‑conditioning wouldn’t work, so I was forced into a small, dark attic room with only a skylight and a lower price. The owner decided not to refund the price difference, but she did issue a booking credit.

The cleanliness, the owner’s kindness, the pool, and the comfortable bed were all positives, but unfortunately we ran into several problems that I hope will be improved in the future: the fridge was very slow and didn’t cool drinks well; the skylight on the roof was broken and we couldn’t open it; despite asking for help, no one came to fix it; the bathroom door was difficult to lock and would open on its own if not locked; the hot water didn’t come out immediately and we had to wait a long time; breakfast was really poor, low quality, and expensive (6€ per person daily, 10€ for a prosciutto‑and‑cheese saltimbocca at lunch split in two); in the room there was no light, only two lamps; during our stay no one ever cleaned the room or changed sheets and towels; at night there was no reception staff if we needed water or anything else; and the Wi‑Fi didn’t work.
The building is stunning and its central spot lets you reach all nearby towns easily, plus the pool is a definite bonus. Nothing to complain about.
