This was the best stay I've had so far on my hiking trip through North Rhine‑Westphalia. The staff were extremely helpful, the view was great, and the breakfast was fantastic.

The staff were friendly, but the place was in terrible shape and desperately needed a renovation. The furnishings were a chaotic mix from different decades, with obvious wear on almost every corner, wall, and plaster. The mattress and slatted bed base were sagging. I had already switched rooms once, and it was too exhausting to complain again. Paying 112 € for this was simply absurd.

The location is great, the staff are friendly, and the room is exactly what I want for a stopover… totally satisfied :)

The location is unique, the food is excellent, and the value for money is great. The place is very, very clean and the staff are extremely friendly. I would have liked a more modern feel in the wet area, and the entry to the shower might be too high for older guests. The old scratched door frame could use a fresh coat of paint, but the bathroom was impeccably clean!
