I loved the spot—beautiful, clean, and the bed, pillows, and shower were all comfortable. The shower temperature couldn’t be adjusted, swinging between too cold and too hot, and the couch’s base was dirty. I didn’t receive any turnover or further instructions.

I’ve stayed here over ten times in the past year and always recommended it, but this time the owner tried to charge me 150 Pesos for towel changes and 500 Pesos for sheet changes—prices that would make buying new linens cheaper. I had booked four nights and wanted to cut it to two, but the owner refused. Security wouldn’t let me enter until they had my details; I arrived at 04:00 PM, they said they had no record of my check‑in, and after a call they finally let me in. The building staff took a copy of my ID, had me sign a form, but there was no key in the box and they told me to contact the owner. With no internet, I had to persuade them to call the owner, who then came to hand me the key.

“It was not good”

The hotel sits right in the city center, making it super convenient. The caretaker didn’t leave the toiletries and towels ready for the full five days, so we had to ask for them each time. The window was jammed and couldn’t be closed, letting bugs crawl in. There was a water leak in the kitchen ceiling, and the ceiling lamp screws were loose and hanging.

“Stay near Abreeza”

I chose this spot as my first option in Davao; the place is huge, with its own bedroom and living room. The internet was very slow and sometimes didn’t work at all.
