The location is unbeatable and the staff at the front desk who handed us the keys were incredibly friendly. The facilities are quite basic, the big bed’s mattress wasn’t in great shape, and there’s not even a mini fridge in the room.

We had a great stay in Somo and were completely satisfied with the property. The location is fantastic, just a stone’s throw from the beach and especially handy for surfers. The experience was very positive and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy, comfortable, and well‑organized spot to enjoy the sea. We’d gladly return.

The location is fine. It should be called a hostel, not a hotel. They messaged me on WhatsApp to confirm my arrival time but didn’t tell me that I had to go to a different spot for check‑in, so I had to move all my luggage once I got to the “hotel.” There’s no security. The rooms are unguarded, the doors are open, and anyone can walk in. There’s no AC, fan, or anything, and because it’s so low with stubby windows, ventilation is impossible. We arrived during a heatwave and couldn’t even stay in the room. It’s too expensive for what it is.
